Möhringer has existed as a company for more than a hundred years and is a subsidiary of the multinational Schindler. At Möhringer, personal service is central, guaranteed by continuous education and training of its employees. Möhringer is an active member of the Dutch Association of Elevator and Escalator Technology. It is one of the few industrial companies in the Netherlands that focuses on the design, supply and installation of custom-designed lift installations for both indoor and outdoor use. Möhringer strives to work as sustainably as possible by designing sustainable lifts with a minimum lifespan of 25 years and by opting for sustainable materials and as little packaging as possible. They are also affiliated with the Dutch Green Building Council (DGBC), an organization that develops quality marks for an independent assessment of the sustainability of buildings and areas. On the CO2 performance ladder of Stichting Klimaatvriendelijke Aanbesteden en Ondernemen (SKAO) that helps companies to reduce CO2, Möhringer Liften has achieved the highest possible score level 5 (KIWA certification). In 2016 Möhringer was also the first lift manufacturer to receive a Lean and Green Award in the category 'personal mobility of the incentive programme for companies and government.

What determines the price of lift maintenance?

When concluding a maintenance contract for your lift you can often choose between different types of contracts. These contract types influence the price of the maintenance contract. In addition to the type of maintenance contract, the intensity of use of the lift and the current state of the lift also influence the price of the maintenance contract. Standard contract

Standard maintenance is included in this contract such as inspection and cleaning of the lift. Preventive maintenance is also included. In addition, lubricant and small materials are often included in this contract type.

Extended contract

In addition to inspection and cleaning, the extended contract also includes some repairs. We also look at technical problems that might come to light in the future and they will be remedied. Furthermore, a mechanic will be present to assist during the periodic inspection of the lift.

All-in contract

All-in contracts often include all costs. The repair costs, for example, are already included. The all-in contract is the most expensive contract there is, but it does cover major repairs and replacements.

Entrance history of Möhringer Lifts

Möhringer was founded in 1915 as a machine factory and specialized in building lifts after the war. After the takeover by the German Haushahn in 1978, Möhringer concentrated exclusively on the design and installation of lifts. After Haushahn was taken over by the Swiss multinational Schindler in 1989. Möhringer now had an established name and continued to expand under its parent company Schindler. Möhringer has since moved to The Hague and is located in the same building as Schindler. In 2015, Möhringer was appointed supplier to the Royal Decree in honor of its 100th anniversary.
