What kind of maintenance contracts are there?

When entering into a maintenance contract for lift maintenance there are several possibilities. It is important to pay attention to whether the company that is going to carry out the maintenance meets all legal safety regulations and legal requirements; what the availability of the mechanics, customer service and online environment is; what the coverage of the maintenance company is and what type of maintenance contracts they offer.

The maintenance contract itself may or may not contain a number of things, this differs per provider. For example, assistance during the mandatory legal periodic inspections of the lift (every 18 months); performing the inspection itself; (ad hoc) troubleshooting and replacing small material and/or replacing the larger expensive lift parts or even replacing the entire lift. When entering into a maintenance contract, it is possible to enter into a contract based on performance requirements, which includes a maximum number of (technical) breakdowns and a guarantee of approval of the lift.
